Prof. Dr. Aziz Eki

Prof. Dr. Aziz EK was born in 1947. In 1964- 68, he studied food science and technology at Ankara University, and received PhD degree from same university in 1974.

In 1977 he was awarded Humboldt Research Scholarship and spent 2 years in Technical University of Munich. He became associated professor in 1979 and full professor in 1988. He lectures food chemistry and food quality control at the university. The most of his scientific publications is about fruit juice chemistry.

He was the President of Food Technology Association betwen 1908-84. In 1993 he founded Fruit Juice Industry Association (Meyed) and was its President between 1993-99 and 2000-08. He also was a member of AIJN- Code of Practice Expert Group in 2006-08.

He was the Chair of Food Engineering Deparment of Ankara University from 1991-94 and from 2006-14. In 2014, he is retired from Ankara University and started to lecture in European University of Lefke.
